Out of it

I've been in a migraine fog the past few days, but I'm not sure I would have had anything to blog about regardless. I knew before we went to the matinee late Friday that I had a headache coming on, and I knew going to the movie would make it worse. I'm not sure why, but it does - even renting a movie. Weird. Anyway, it's been a crummy few days but I'm hopeful today is the end of it.

On a positive note, 51 of our 55 students passed the state test, and 30% received "commended performance." And the four who didn't pass get a second chance in a few weeks.

By the way, the movie was "Taken" and it was really good. If you're a vengeful spirit like me, go see it!

I went to see Knowing and Taken. Both were amazing. However, I couldn't help but feel bad for Liam as I was watching his latest movie, as I was enjoying his acting ability, he was mourning the death of his wife. Anyway, you should go and see Knowing. It was amazing!! Good job on the 51 students. Hopefully, the remaining for will do better. Feel Better!!

Bummer you feel bad, but awesome for your students. I am glad they pulled through.

We saw Slumgod Millionaire and Taken at the drive-in, and after Slumdog I thought Taken would pale in comparison, but to tell you the truth, I almost liked it more. I loved it! Who knew Liam Nielson was such a bad-ass!!!
Congrats on your class. I'm not surprised though... I just know you're an amazing teacher.
