I don't have a good history with plants. The ones I planted last weekend, which include these in the guest house windowbox, are still alive after 5 days. Maybe there's hope for me yet. We've had some rain this week, which provides a good protective barrier between the plants and my lack of know-how.

You're so lucky to have that little house in the back. It's so cute and rustic and has lots of potential. Look how much fun it is to play with the window boxes.
