Regardless of the year it's been, I think I'm looking forward to the holidays. And it's not even Halloween yet. Something about getting the holiday decorations and lights and candles out later next month is already getting me antsy. Maybe I want the appearance of coziness and comfort to make life seem a little more peaceful. The brain can be fooled, you know.
