Yesterday I went to the doctor for my annual visit. Yeah, you know the appointment I'm talking about. And throughout the entire visit I was reminded of my age.
"Let's see...now that YOU'RE FORTY, we do this additional exam."
"Well, since YOU'RE FORTY, you'll need to keep an eye on this."
"When women reach FORTY, LIKE YOU, they also have to have this done."
Basically what I learned is there'll be much more poking, prodding, and pinching now that I'M FORTY.
